THE FLAT
Nice 2-room flat on the building's third floor. The flat is entered from an indoor corridor. The living room is open-plan with the kitchen. Several windows in the living room and a French balcony let plenty of light into the room. The flat has one bedroom and a bathroom with plumbing for a washing machine. The flat has its own storage room in the basement. A home you have to experience!
LOCATION
If you choose to rent a home in Kvadratunet, many of the town's amenities will be right on your doorstep. The town's very attractive sandy beach, Bystranda, is just two short blocks away. A hot dog at Snadderkiosken or your weekly shop at Coop Extra, Rema 1000 and Kiwi – all within a few stone's throws. Just across the bridge to Lund is Rådhuscaféen, with perhaps the best pizza in town. Kvadraturen has many bars and places to eat, including the new Pincho Nation, Smag og Behag and Hos Moi if you fancy treating yourself. Feel like a workout? Aquarama has both a fine swimming pool and a SATS gym.
Living in town has many advantages. By moving to Kvadratunet you can make use of them all while living in a new and comfortable building. If you are a student, you have good connections to UiA by cycle path or by the bus just around the corner. Best of all, it is a short distance to both sea and hills. STANDARD
The flats in Kvadratunet are of a good standard, with laminate on all floors throughout and painted plasterboard walls. Well-considered, calm colour choices in all flats. All bathrooms have large, attractive tiles on floors and walls. There is hydronic underfloor heating in all floors except bedrooms. Lovely kitchen supplied by Strai-kjøkken with integrated appliances.
The flat has a fridge without freezer and a hob with two cooking zones. There is no dishwasher in the flat, and a washing machine is not possible.
Washing clothes in the shared laundry is included in the rent for the first year. After that a fee may apply.

Nine-month minimum term, then a mutual notice period of three months.
Alternatively: The tenant is bound for the agreement period, but both tenant and landlord may end the agreement each year on 31.07 by giving notice, provided the notice is sent by 31.03 of the same year.
SUBLETTING
Subletting is not permitted without the landlord's written consent, unless otherwise agreed in writing or provided by the Tenancy Act.
